Saguaro Fruit In Season!

Using a fruit picker on a long pole I was able to knock down some Saguaro Cactus Fruit, the birds were not too happy with me so I only took three pieces...they taste kind of like kiwi, seedy and kind of tart with almost like a melon layer on the bottom which tastes like papaya. YUM! This is what they look like:

Inspired by this week's big Republic of Texas (ROT) Biker Rally in Austin, where hoards of administrative associates, IT specialists and software engineers donned leather and wifebeaters, Alexia took to the open road. This is only day 2 for the little rider.
