Saguaro Fruit In Season!

Using a fruit picker on a long pole I was able to knock down some Saguaro Cactus Fruit, the birds were not too happy with me so I only took three pieces...they taste kind of like kiwi, seedy and kind of tart with almost like a melon layer on the bottom which tastes like papaya. YUM! This is what they look like:
